Tape Tuesday: Backwards Guitar Intro

This is a piece of an isolated lead guitar track from a song I'm working on for the Dreamspell Redux project. It was originally recorded on analog 4-track cassette, and this particular snippet was then re-recorded onto analog 1/4" 2-track.

I flipped the tape over and played it back in reverse, and did a little "manual flanging" (putting my thumb on the tape as it played to cause it to warble a bit) while digitizing into SoundEdit 16 (an audio editing program on the old Mac systems in the 90's); I found the WAV files recently and it was surprisingly clean - virtually no tape hiss. I did add a bit of EQ and processing here.
