about

Welcome to the Machine is the first full-length guitar-centric album from Circuit Scream since 2008's Dreamer's Hideaway. Recorded in an on-off fashion from 2014 to 2023, the album has gone through various metamorphoses to arrive at its current state.

Themes of artificial intelligence and assimilation in the cover art and song titles existed long before the current trendy AI rage, and at one point in 2016 Donnie planned to generate the entire album via (non-AI) software, but those plans were quickly scrapped.
